A delegation of Balehonnur Hobli all-part unit members met chief minister H D Kumaraswamy recently to demand a ‘Taluk centre status’ for Balehonnur. According to a press release, the CM has assured the 14 member delegation that their demand will be fulfiled.The delegation was led by Shringeri MLA D N Jeevaraj and included all party leaders K N Rudrappa Gowda, T M Nagesh, K T Venkatesh, D N Jagadeesh, B S Vittal Rao, R D Mahendra, Renuka, K T Govinde Gowda, Shivalinge Gowda, Manjaaih, H K Sudhakar Bhat and others, the release added.
